What is the Lift BU?
The Lift Business Unit supports Purchasing Managers, Real Estate Managers or Maintenance Managers in the technical and financial management of service providers working on elevators, freight elevators, escalators, automatic doors or shutters.
What types of projects / missions are carried out within the BU?
The most requested service is a device diagnosis. Our experts are professional lift operators who have decades of experience in maintenance, installation and service management. That is to say that they are able to understand whether maintenance is carried out or not according to the obligations of the contract, if the device is to be replaced due to wear or obsolescence, write specifications for calls for tenders, analyse quotes and manage any complex situation.
Who are your main contacts?
Our contacts are maintenance companies, external services for technical inspections (SECTs), manufacturers and users. Our Clients are in all sectors: hospitals, insurance companies, banks, large property owners, manufacturers, major retail groups, etc. Each project covers lift parks between 30 and 500 units in Belgium, France and/or Luxembourg.
What are your greatest achievements?
The lift business is a niche, of course, but the problems to be resolved are significant and the benefits are immediately measurable in terms of savings on investment, availability of equipment and-most importantly-also user safety.
For the financial part, we can attest for our customers tens of thousands of euros in terms of savings per year. For the technical security part, we have certainly avoided dozens of accidents that could be serious or harmful to the image and reputation of our Clients.
Our Customers are always amazed to see illustrated by our photos problems that they suspected only partially… or not at all! We are proud that our technical reports have never been challenged by maintenance providers since the creation of the BU, that is to say for about 5 years. Rigour and flawless quality are our driving forces!
